Cosmos, Thought and Healing

With Dr. Fergus Anderson – a renaissance man of many arts and sciences. In this dialogue, Fergus shares some deep and often overlooked aspects of our actual experience of thinking, and points to ways it connects to a cosmos of engagement, and an understanding of health as much more than absence of disease. Drawing on his rich experience of violin building, teaching and painting, and opening his own recent diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease as a source of insight and transformation, Fergus shares a deep and transformative and adventurous approach to the phenomenon of healing. Towards the end, we discuss if such an approach to health and disease could be taught in a contemplative Højskole, to people who have to live with chronic diseases.
